9:17 pm	I got the job! 206 weeks since my last post.... doesn't time fly. Well I went for a job interview yesterday at Cable and Wireless in Norwich (yes that's where Gabi works too) and I got the call today to let me know I've got it! Needless to say, I'm a bit excited! It's been a bit of a whirlwind from not really looking for a new job in any great seriousness to finding out about the opportunity 2 weeks ago to today being offered and accepting it today. 3:47 pm	Petrol Head Outing We went off road Karting for our friend Vlad's Stag Day (soon to be married to amathyst73), off to the Pub tonight to get him suitably drunk! The Karting was really good fun, I would love to do it again some time. I'm a bit sore now as the course was VERY bumpy and the Karts have no suspension! I think I may have bruised my ribs a bit, must make sure I'm strapped in really tightly next time. I came second, but only because I though I was a lap ahead of everyone and had a small off the course moment near the end and a couple of people went past me, I got back past one but the guy in front I thought was a lap down so didn't really try to get past him (ok I'm making excuses! hehe), turned out he was actually in the lead and if I'd known I could probably have overtaken him! Never mind though, I was quite impressed with myself at how natural the driving felt considering I had never done it before, I reckon with a bit of practice I'd be pretty good! hehe. 9:18 pm	Ok my first LJ Journal entry, thanks amathyst73 for poking me to do it! Well after a week of much stress and little else on my mind but damn Vans, It's finally starting to sink in now, we have another Van... Woohooo! I'm actually quite looking forward to tidying it up as it's in a rather cosmetically shabby state, nothing major just lots of dents and superficial scratches. When I get some spare weekends later in the Summer it should be easy enough to sort her out with a bit of sandpaper and some anti-rust paint, soon have her looking as good as new, the van on the other hand might take a bit longer, haha only joking gothichaven Well that's all for now.
